Mountains converge, sculpted by millions of years of time. The Creator molded a colossal “knot” upon the land, a mystery countless have sought to unravel. In ancient mythology, the Pamir Knot was known as “Buzhou Mountain,” the birthplace of the great primordial god Pangu and the pillar of heaven and earth. From here, waters flow in all directions, earning Pamir its title as the “origin of all mountains and the source of all waters.” Its unique geographical position has preserved its pristine natural landscapes and upheld ancient ways of coexisting with nature.
