THE MORTAL PANACEA
In the mountains, there is untamed wildness and untouched nature. To some extent, we all long for this pure freedom.
This desire is deeply primal, and the mountains awaken it.
Nanjieluo is located in the Weixi County of Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, in the heart of the “Three Parallel Rivers”
UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, where the Jinsha, Nu, and Lancang Rivers meet. With high-altitude lakes as its main feature,
it boasts landscapes such as snow-capped mountains, alpine meadows, primeval forests, and waterfalls of various sizes,
making it an untouched sacred land that has yet to be fully developed. Li Shangming grew up in this “secret realm.”
